Photoshop and AI

With the increasing use of AI tools in the generation, modification and retouching of images, the main problem from the supplier side seems to be that clients now assume everything is done by AI.
While a lot of the AI tools now incorporated into Photoshop and other programs are very helpful, they do not (yet) replace the human eye and judgement, particularly when dealing with product that must remain accurate to the subject in order to advertise it legally and properly.
Using a combination of the AI tools and traditional retouching methods, however, definitely speeds up the process and can save time and money.
In many ways, Photoshop (and many other programs) have always incorporated AI to some extent. The options for automation have simply grown.
As it continues to evolve, it is most important that the professionals stay updated and become more adept at using the new AI tools in order to produce the best product, as well as to remain competitive.
My advice to people sourcing retouching and image management work is not to assume that desired result can be reached through AI, but to simply describe what is needed and allow the professional to judge when AI is applicable.
